Matt Boshart
So, about me…here we go. I used to be around 300lbs. About 8 years ago I lost over 100lbs and got down to around 190lbs. Over the last couple years though, I’ve slacked off. As anyone who’s ever been bigger knows, the pounds can sneak back on ya pretty quickly. I’ve gained 25-30lbs and its time to get back to business. So, I recruited these other two fellas to be my lifting partners. In this picture, I’m right around 238 lbs. Follow along…and watch our progress.
Nathan Anderson
Hi, I’m Nathan. Some people call me Nate. I love my vices. Alcohol, tobacco and food are all so fine. When I left home for college nine years ago I began slowly putting on the pounds, year after year. In March of 2010 I found myself at a happy 280 pounds (upon a visit to the doctor) and with high blood pressure. At the beginning of June, 2010, I began a drastic change in my eating habits. I was feeling better and ready to be better. So when Matt asked me to join him at the gym I didn’t have to think twice about it. We started mid July and it was the first time I have ever been inside of one. As of the picture below (taken 7-29-2010 post workout) I weighed in at 259 pounds.
Ryan Weidman
Hello, I’m Ryan. Back in high school I was very active, football, basketball, track, etc. I ate what I wanted and never even thought about my weight, I was very skinny. After high school, a change happened that happens to a lot of people. My metabolism came to a screeching halt. Before I knew it my “normal” weight was up to about 245. Sometime in June of 2010 I just happened to step on the scale and was shocked to see the needle pop up to 260. Enough is enough…I had to do something different. I was eating horrible and got literally no exercise. The picture below I am around 249lbs, a good start, but a long ways to go.
